Re: WTD 1-1/8 Disk Forks
I've not measured the existing ones yet, I will and will re-post. Guessing normal ish length as the don't have loads of spacers etc on it. Just want to replace the current v-brakes stock forks on my old Trek 7500FX with a disc pair as my other bikes all have 203/180 rotors or very good modern road brakes and 15 year old v-brakes are scary on the front.

No, not steerer length Duncan but the distance between the wheel axle and the bottom of the lower headset bearing ... basically, fork length.

Re: WTD 1-1/8 Disk Forks
I will be removing some rigid forks off my Boardman Team shortly so I can whack my Fox Forks on there. Will be looking or hoping for around 60 or 70 quid (ono). They're carbon with one slight blemish which I'm not sure where it came from as I've not crashed or scrapred them.
PM to arrange for pics to be sent to email. Hope it helps. Ta

I'll measure when I am home tomorrow. It currently holds a 700x35 tyre wheel with a bit or clearance if that is any use.Bearbonesnorm wrote:No, not steerer length Duncan but the distance between the wheel axle and the bottom of the lower headset bearing ... basically, fork length.

I'll measure the current ones and let you know to see if they are the correct size.redefined_cycles wrote:I will be removing some rigid forks off my Boardman Team shortly so I can whack my Fox Forks on there.
