Its a mountainbike not a road bike!
Seriously the fat bike has a 26 and I can pedal it up to about 18 mph. If I need to go faster than that I'm on the wrong terrain. I had a 30 on the jones but the 28 just makes it that bit easier to get up hills. It can be pedalled up to 20....

Thanks everyone for the input. :-bd :-bd :-bd I was leaning heavily towards the 1x, but having counted teeth and done the maths the double wins it to get the range.

I am hoping to get a 36-22 double and probably 10speed 11-36 cassette. Let the bike shop work out all the compatibility stuff ! That will give me super low gears and functional road speed

Toy shopping ! :O)
