My May bivi a month, all welcome Fri 24th, perfect for any newbies and anyone based up in the North West with a 12 to 14 hour window
Bivi short night ride from the Freshfields Hotel pub Massam's Lane, Formby L37 7BD 7.30 meet up.
Car parking in the pub car park, quick pint and off we go
The forecast looks perfect.
What's needed
Bike with dry lube on chain as there will be riding on sand
Airbed/mattress
Sleeping bag, summer one as it won't be cold over night
Optional extras
Bivi bag to keep the sand, bugs and any moisture out
Camera
Breakfast snacks
Beer for the evening
Buff to cover eyes when the sun comes up early if you want to sleep in a bit
I need to be home sharpish on Saturday so I am driving to the pub, 3 miles each way max riding.
