Thank you so much for checking that out. I reckon that looks like our best option and we'll be breaking our cave-cherry, so to speak

Good distance round and we can grab dinner on the way!

Windjammer, if you're still interested in joining drop me a PM. Our plan might end up being a bit fluid as we're fairly likely to get stuck in traffic somewhere!

The weather looks crap.

Last time I went to Wales (couple of weeks ago) it was just as bad.

All the other weekends have been fairly alright (or at least included 10 minutes of Sunshine).

Doh!

Would anyone local be able to purchase something from the Paramo store and deliver to Wilf's Cafe in Staveley before lunchtime tomorrow pretty please if it's not too much trouble? I've checked with paramo and it's in stock, and Wilf is happy to look after item in the cafe - I just need to get 'courier' sorted in time  :-bd

Ignore my last post - now sorted as Ben is in London, and London is a metropolis!

Was good to see you yesterday Rich :-bd

Had a wet but enjoyable night out, was also great to have a catch up with Ben & Zip. Think the pub in Satterthwaite is becoming a regular BB haunt, even seen Ton in there last weekend!

I only tagged onto the tail end of this trip, so will leave Ben & Chris to say how wet it was

It was a cracking weekend, just very very very wet! For some sections a boat might have been quicker!

I'll start up a separate thread in the write ups section to post up some details

Sorry we missed you Rich, would have been nice to meet you - great route!
