Cotswold winter bivvy 10/11 Dec.

Post by custardfeet »

Have been reading all the winter bivvy posts and all seem 2 hours plus drive from me. So would anyone like to do something in the Cotswolds? I'm in Stroud & could put something together.

Now have a route, riding north from Stroud following the edge of the Cotswold escarpment to Guiting Power to bivvy up for the night. Then heading backing down to Stroud though the villages that sit to the east of the escarpment. About 60 miles in total.

Wish I could join you. Other engagements that don't include a night under the stars. That and work.

Another time Pete, always out and about.

For those interestted in joining us, we are heading out at noon on Saturday. Starting at the Co op car park at the end of Slad road, GL5 1QW.

If you need parking, give me a shout, there is street parking further up the road outside my house, GL5 1RH.
