Dipped out on heading over to the Lakes for a sportive and took the fat bike for a spin in the snow in the Dales.
On Mastiles Lane
Heading towards Weets Top
Lovely (apart from the sludge as the snow melted!)

How did you find your maiden ride on the snow with a fat bike?

Re: Playing in the Snow
The snow was fine - it was perfect snowball snow, slightly damp - it was between 5cm & 10cm deep. The main problem was below the snowline, the sodden grass might have been sheet ice for all the grip I had. Quite a few comedy slips and dismounts If I felt the bike going then I could step off otherwise I got a bit muddy!voodoo_simon wrote:Top man!

Not sure if Husker Dus are the best for snow but then I've nothing to compare them to.
