Bikepacking Clearout

Post by Mactheknife68 »

I’ve resigned myself to the fact that getting out isn’t going to happen, I’m now my wife’s full time carer and with her health deteriorating it’s just not happening

Very sorry to hear that. I too am a carer for my wife but still manage to get out from time to time when she's well and someone's available in case of emergency.

I wanted to say just that. I'm a nurse and its hectic. When i first went for an interview (in Leeds at the time) one of the questions asked was how will I manage the pressure and stress. I said, I ride my bike.

For the first 2 years I used to try and get a few minutes of shuteye whilst walking from the locker room to the ward. I did this by closing eyes and walking using the landmarks of the corridor wall

Cheers Andy for your help in sorting it all out. He’s a real gentleman and emailed for pics of the bike. He seemed to like it. But it is a Salsa after all. :-bd
