Re: Wtd: Salsa Alternator plates
Not much help but just had a quick look round the usual suspects and Bike24 has the cheapest I can find.
However you need to get the right ones ie V1 or V2
The V2 Alternator plates were designed to work with our carbon Woodsmoke and Mukluk frames. They feature either a sliding or fixed position plate that offers different wheel positions and movement in the plate rather than in the frame like the V1 dropout. Frames made for V2 plates are not compatible with V1 plates and frames designed for V1 plates are not compatible with V2 plates.
Further, because the 2.0 plates are designed to handle axle position and tension, the actual tension mechanism is different with built in tension and anti-slip features that are designed separately for drive and non-drive side to combat different forces from braking and pedaling uniquely.
I think you need V1?

Re: Wtd: Salsa Alternator plates
Thanks.
Already done that research. V1 it is.
Bike24 it is. Just hoping to spend less than £70 to get the job done
