Monstercross drop bar stuff (price drop last two bits!)

Post by Specialist Hoprocker »

I'm shifting all my bits and pieces used to make various drop barred mountain bikes.

All prices are for posted or knock a bit off for collection. I'm based in north west surrey but I get down to the New Forest regularly.

All have been lightly used. Message me for pics.

Tektro RL520 Aero V Drop Bar Brake Levers - Black - (Works with cable operated discs like BB7 MTN or TRP Spykes) - £12

Shimano 105 2 x 10 drop bar STI brake / shifters - £35

MicroShift BS-M10 10 Speed MTB bar end shifter (Rear/Right only) - £20 NOW SOLD

Salsa Woodchipper bars (probably 44cm but maybe 42cm I'll have to measure) - £37.50 NOW SOLD

Shimano 10sp 11-36 cassette plus chain (only about 40 miles on it) - £10 NOW SOLD

Avid BB7 MTN calipers (no cables) - £35 NOW SOLD

Avid BB7 ROAD calipers (no cables) - £35 NOW SOLD

Cheers!

Just found the Avid lflat bar evers for BB7 MTNs too.

I'll throw them in for an extra £5 with the brakes or £7.50 seperate.

Cheers!

Did the 9s mech work well with mud? I'm building up something similar and already have 10s STI's and 10s mtb mech already and an old 8/9s mech. So wondering whether to use the older mechs or fit a shift mate near the STI and take advantage of the bigger cable pull.

Yes - no problem in the mud. No problems at all actually, it worked remarkably well. I forgot how good Deore stuff was!
