Carbon 29er frame with DT forks / Xt brakes

Post by Al »

Stripped down my hardtail and selling frame, fork and brakes as a bundle (not the whole bike). Builds into very light bike with room for a medium sized frame bag and a bottle. Have allways heli-taped any bag contact points.

Flyxii matt black 19” 29er frame. Internal routing, threaded B.B. in good condition bar a scratch on the top tube where the bars span and the brake lever hit it.
Edit: should also say I am very much a ‘wheels in the ground’ rider! Has not been thrashed or badly crashed

DT Swiss XM100 fork with remote lockout. Was sent away for service about 18months ago but has not been ridden a great deal since.

Xt brakes m785, shiny crome lever tops and still plenty of life in original pads.Frame is internally routed so makes sense to sell them with it.

Looking for £300 - collect from Shropshire hills or could box up and post if needed if you’re happy to pay

Pic of it built up (its clean now!) pm me if you want photos of parts now it’s stripped

Come on someone, this is a great opportunity to build up a fast light racey bike, and at a killer price!

(Too big for me and I already have a light 29 er hardtail)

No idea where I'd keep it Al, but I wouldn't mind throwing a leg over it to see if it fits. You about this weekend?

And if the frame goes, how much for the brakes?

It's a cracking deal, but there would be too much month left at the end of my money!

I'm in need of some brakes though!

It is on eBay (ends Sunday with plenty of people watching it) no bids yet Scott so you’re welcome to come and have a look Saturday. I’ve got the thrill of taking my daughter school shopiping in Shrewsbury but should be back late afternoon. Alternatively I could chuck it in the truck and stop off at the sun inn in corfe dale on the way home from work tomorrow - beer and bike browsing? :-bd

Brakes will almost certainly go with the frame as they are internal routed and you’d have to cut the olive off to get them out. Don’t think they’d fit your spearfish either - that’s what I’m building up and decided the lines were far too short (and didnt want the faf of fitting new ones!).

If I’ve still got it after the auction ends Sunday I’ll have a think about splitting it.

Got a lovely green road bike too that needs to go......

All taken apart and clear now:

Won’t include the 180mm post mount adapter for the forks - so 160mm discs or buy another one for a couple of quid!

I can meet you @ the Sun, Al. I'm not far down the road from there if you want to drop in for a cuppa or a Leffe.
