Wanted road levers

Post by Mike »

Any shimano 105 or better levers for my arkose available out there? 9 spd would be good or 10 spd double if not. Will consider sram also. As long as they work with shim mechs and they need to work with trp spyres :)

Hello Mike, if you are still looking for levers I'm pretty sure I have a set of 105's 10 Speed doubles in the shed.

I've a set of 10 speed campag centaur, which apparently work with 9 speed Shimano if you clamp the cable differently (hubjub mod, I believe it's called). They worked nicely for me with avid BB5 brakes so the cable pull should be fine with trp.

Mike - the whole SRAM / Shimano thing - not compatible, using widgets to make them compatible is a faff.

One of the other, so probably Shimano if you've got the mechs already.

:-bd yes Greg iv got the mechs and would stick with shimano anyhow. Cheers for the advice! Not keen on sram ( never used though )
I'm after the newer style levers where without the cables poking out the sides

Photos sent Mike.
I got them off here a few months ago from Gairy. My little hands and flared drops didn't go well together.
