..just in case anyone needs to post a bike, I can recommend Senditnow.com. They use parcelforce delivery service and will collect a full size bike box and deliver it to its UK destination for £12.19!, with tracking. Have just posted a bike to Bath and they received it in 2 days, no problems..

I assume that's with the standard £50 compensation? I recall it being a lot higher when I looked into it.

Ah yes.. to be fair the Purchaser put me on to it and was happy to run the risk (the bike was only sold for £130 anyway!)..
