WTD: Revelate Handlebar Harness

Post by Scattamah »

After managing to destroy yet another Revelate front harness, I'm on the hunt for another one. I have the blocks so that's not a show stopper if yours is missing them. Anyone out here with one of these bad boys gathering dust? I'll take it off your hands.

At a pinch, I'll take a Sweetroll instead if it's the small or medium version.

I'm genuinely interested in how you're breaking them.

First one - wore away the center harness strap due to not enough clearance with a Fox fork. A few thousand miles of hard hits and rubbing took it out.

Second one - wore through the retainer fabric that holds the strap to the harness that goes around the fork crown. This may have also been contributed to me having to use a zip tie there after I broke the cam lock on the original strap pulling on it a little much.

It's always the grey belt material that I seem to wear through. Have also worn holes in the back of both of them where they rub on the head tube.

I was thinking less than retail. ;)
I don't expect miracles, but make it sensible and it's in good condition - I'll take it off your hands.

Ah yes - a spacer where the headtube strap is makes sense
