Gave it serious consideration but the £85 registration fee put me off.

Wow! The best 100 Euros I ever spent. Put this on your bucket list. Very tough, up there with HT550. Loads of singletrack, not much tarmac, lots of hills and stunning scenery. Book early for next year's edition. It will sell out fast. Best of all 1200km with less than 10 gates!
