Calling East Anglia - November Bivi?

Post by siboy »

Anyone up for a Friday or Saturday night bivi in November? I've just bought some new gear and keen to try it out. I'm between Cambridge and Newmarket.

Not sure where to go yet, the only place I've been round here is The Peddars Way near Castle Acre. Suggestions welcome!

Cheers

There is a nice bird hide behind the beach at Holkham if the weather is not good

There's a nicer hostel just down the road at Burnham Deepdale.

OK, we'll meet up at Scud's place at 12 and ride up to the coast. The plan will be to eat in Wells, either Fish and Chips or pub grub, and have a few pints. Then off to the bivvy spot about 4 miles out of town. On Sunday there's the option of a longer route back along the Peddars Way, depending on the weather, and there's also options for a fry up back in Wells or in Old Hunstanton.

Hmm, I'll stay in the loop for this. Might join you with the gf on foot, or if it's only a short ride, by bike.

Nice meeting you all. Colleen actually enjoyed that despite the dew that formed overnight. Thanks all :-bd
