So, let's have a nice orderly queue, peeps. You could stick your choices in brackets after yer name perhaps. Let's try a 5th October deadline? Copy the previous post and add your moniker and nosh selection.

'Reg' (Broc & Stilton Soup + Chestnut Roast + one of them there sweet things which is probably a selection on the day but I'm just checking with Wendy)

LMAO... you guys getting fancy food again? You might want to ask them to charge you £5 extra each so you can get a bunch of potatoes / sausages to fill you up.

So you'll be one of the bothy bag boilers then Rich I take it . Bonkers indeed, but nonetheless yum by the look of it. One assumes "potatoes etc" are included but maybe I'd best check, or I'll be taking my own loaf of bread along . Irrelevant anyway, as three puds is what I'll be heading for.

TBH I can't work out if that's a starter, main, or pud, or none of the aforementioned!

Wendy says all mains are with veg and spuds, the steak-takers slum it with chips. So nobody's gonna go hungry, and as MaM says she knows all about bikepackers after the Salopian Chapter's frequent visits .

MaM: scotch egg + turkey and pigs + cheesecake + a shat ton of Irish coffees and plenty of whisky ,
'Reg': Broc & Stilton Soup + Chestnut Roast + one of them there sweet things

A man from your parish should appreciate the thought of a black pudding scotch egg more than one of those continental kebabie thingies

"fine selection of crisps" - bound to have avocado flavour and probably black pudding flavour as well, so all of us are catered for!

As much as I could stomach a black pudding scotch egg, I couldn't stomach the price ... erm, now wondering if I might have swapped counties at birth from Yorkshire to Derbyshire

Reg, mate, trust me on this, you will tie yourself in a big old bow trying to sort out dinner orders if you do it on here. However, if the concept of self-flagellation floats yer boat, I'll be going with:

STARTERS: Wild Mushroom Risotto with Parsnip Crisps and Walnut Oil
MAINS: Roast Salop Turkey, Pigs in Blankets, Chestnut Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce
I'm just going outside ...

I'll see if the butcher has any in but have a think before you want me to get hold of one for ya as this is the black country and it may not be black pudding just something black to cover up the green egg

"tie yourself in a big old bow" - you're probably right Tim, but at least choices'll be publicly aired and people can't(*) moan that they ended up with the "wrong" stuff ;-).

(*) well they can, but they won't be able to hide...

Adding you mate:

MaM: scotch egg + turkey and pigs
'Reg': Broc & Stilton Soup + Chestnut Roast
TimBrownDog: Wild Mushroom Risotto with Parsnip Crisps and Walnut Oil + Roast Salop Turkey, Pigs in Blankets

A....black......pudding.....scotch......egg
My god I have to have one, my life was quite possibly saved by a roadside cafe during my jogle,, I’ll never forget bitting into the northern delicacy of a black pudding roll. Without it I’d surely have expired. :-bd

Oh I forgot
Broccoli & Stilton soup with Parmesan Croutons
Homemade Game and Cranberry Pie

Must I really choose between the puddings, ok Christmas pud then :-bd
We’re all individuals, except me.

I woke up this morning but I’m still in the dark

Ta Steve. But blinkin' Nora gents, just propagate the list with your choice then it's all clear as a bell/mud, as per:

BDS: Broccoli & Stilton soup + Homemade Game and Cranberry Pie
MaM: scotch egg + turkey and pigs
'Reg': Broc & Stilton Soup + Chestnut Roast
TimBrownDog: Wild Mushroom Risotto with Parsnip Crisps and Walnut Oil + Roast Salop Turkey, Pigs in Blankets

L'slide: c'mon then, come and show us how to eat all the puds - if you can handle the competition! Pudding fight, pudding fight, fight, fight..... etc etc
