Just waiting to hear back from a friend for dates for something else, but it's looking like I'll make it along. Hoping the ferry doesn't get booked up too quickly!

Manx Ferries?

Like so?

Foot passenger seemed to be the closest option, so assume bicycle is just luggage?

I've confirmed ok dates wise.

Steam Packet for us Zip ... not that really matters.

Yep, bike is included as foot passenger.

I think Mike's planning on riding to Liverpool Zip ... there's a tentative plan to get to Gobowen and jump on the train into Liverpool.

My mate who I used to race with is doing it again this year and wants me to give him a hand spanner so I might try and make a wee adventure out of it..

Sounds good, according to your earlier post your going friday 3am so you'll be there about 6 hours before me and on the same ferry back?

Unfortunately I’m out, new job starting on the 30th means no holiday :(( hopefully I’ll be able to squeeze a few days off before the school holidays finish so at least we can have a few days in Devon.
We’re all individuals, except me.

I woke up this morning but I’m still in the dark

03.00 from Liverpool on Fri 24th, returning at 16.30 on Sat Sep 1st - 'twas £59 each return

Obviously, happy to meet up with anyone who can't escape for the week but fancies a couple of days.

This year races are on Sat, Mon, Wed and Fri.
Is that with manxferries?
Pondering joining you for the weekend, take the Friday off work and travel on the 03:00
Take Tuesday morning off work and return on the Tuesday
Gives four days; enough time to clear the island of ticks.

enjoyed the ride to the sun ride so looking at joining you guys if okay.
drive to liverpool thursday night, find somewhere to leave the car
take friday off as annual leave
would aim to get the same ferry out on the friday morning.

surprisingly, the ferry on tuesday is double the price of monday or wednesday
so, would there be enough to keep us amused until wednesday?
if so, take off tues, and wed off as annual leave
