Just trying to work out the logistics of getting there.
Last train gets in about midnight

What time are others planning to get there?

From memory theres f’ all at the ferry terminal
Any ideas if theres somewhere warm to wait until check-in at 2am?

May get a slightly earlier train to Manchester and then ride in from there to kill some time

Plan at present is to ride to Gobowen then jump on the last train ... ETA just before midnight.

I'm then thinking about trying to find somewhere for a brew or perhaps some graffiti or car theft ... when in Rome :-bd

Haven’t booked ferry yet ....waiting on weather report.
However, leave car near friends or a friends house then cycle down to ferry terminal
About 9miles so I’m told

Okay then - I shall be arriving at Lime St station just before midnight on Thursday and hopefully meeting Chew. A steady amble toward the docks will likely see us there around 1.00am.

Off the ferry about 6.00am and hopefully here or here abouts for breakfast.

I've got a vague plan coming together (although I'm currently trying to get my front wheel to stay inflated...!)

I should be at the ferry port at some point after midnight, but before 0235 check-in time.

What's the general thoughts food wise? I was thinking of only bringing enough stuff to just make a brew in the morning rather than cook any meals.

I'll send you my number, but unsure if my phone will work out there as it didnt last time.

May be best just to meet you in Douglas when your ferry gets in

Anyone doing this happen to have a spare etrex mount? I've misplaced all of mine...and I had 3 of them! Just to borrow for the duration of this trip...
Spose it's not the end of the world if I don't have it. I did order a map actually.

I can bring you one off t'other bike.

You wont need it though. Last time we just took a 1:50 map of the island and just followed anything that looked interesting

I remember that bracken fondly ... and the big steep ravine that came shortly afterwards.

Right, I'm packed - tyres seem to hold air. Not really sorted a luggage carrying setup on this bike, so it's a seatpack and backpack setup. But I'm all set to see you guys at Liverpool ferry terminal :-bd
