Pretty part of the world with great coffee. Tempting.

I quite like the look of that Scott, shame it wasn't in a warmer state though ;)

Coffee. Beer. Quote unquote "wilderness." What's not to love? (No, I don't need to know the annual rainfall for Washington state, thank you very much.)

Yup...good coffee in Wa. Beer is ok too. I've done a little bit of riding on the Olympic peninsula but this should make up for it. Time off worked booked...now just a case of tickets and getting there. And maybe a little bit of training too. ;) Maybe I'll see a Bigfoot? *laughs* Or some bears.

Some of those places on the route sound familier Scott :ugeek:

Do you know what sort of winter they've had this year, is there a possibility of snow still being about higher up?

I'm hearing murmurs that some of the highest points have been rerouted due to persistent snow. There are some pictures of Hyak with maybe a foot of snow still on the ground but it is supposedly melting away reasonably quickly. Warm out east already.

Edit: there are a couple of permits that have to be acquired - I'm sending in for mine early next week.
