Looks like me and cat are out. Cats got a bad chest infection and I'm feeling like a cold coming on

Not happy bunny. Have fun everyone!

We had a great time Karl, shame you weren't there. Burty was trying to convince us you were worried about slowing us down....

You missed a good one :-bd

Burty was right.....as if!!!!! when is Burty ever right

Gutted to miss it but unfortunately the misses was/is a wee bit ill. In a very caring fashion she's decided to share it with me, which is nice.

It looked a bit cold and damp which would have been really bad for her chest.

We'll catch up soon though, don't worry Steve!!! :-bd

anyway you have a long way to got until you beat steve ( the beast) large . he snapped his chain 10 times over the weekend with his raw power.

Last time I rode with Steve L he broke:

A chain
A rear mech
A freehub
Some spokes

And he wasn’t even in beast-mode then.

I also reckon it's the time of year... I broke a chain a couple of weeks ago and my freehub is pretty dead. No beast mode from me either at those times either! Winter kills bikes - even with good maintenance....

Isn't that his default mode?

Just to clarify, I didn't actually break anything this ride, Burty snapped his chain but impressed me with his repair speed (there's a photo up there somewhere of us all 'helping').

Not sure I have a beast mode (I have a beauty mode hidden somewhere - quite deeply)
