Yes, I know it's ages away and there will be plenty of excuses - "too far south" for starters, but I'm thinking of arranging a gathering location for a November bivi.
Location: either New Forest or North Hampshire
Date: 17/18/19th Nov. (Provisional)
General idea is that the location will have some basic facilities, possibly an under cover social area, but everybody should ride to venue with kit suitable for a night under the stars.
Option to arrive Fri night and have a social ride Sat, or just turn on up Sat and go Sun.
May consider doing a big vat of grub for Sat night, otherwise a pub won't be too far away.
There is likely to be a small cost, but I wouldn't expect it to be more than £15 a head, with some food.
Anybody interested?

I'd be interested - not too far from Somerset!
Re: No Excuse November
I am local to the New Forest and would also be interested.

Re: No Excuse November
It's not a million miles from me, so I may be in. Need to check when the gig I'm going to is first before I can commit though.

Re: No Excuse November
Nice to have some reply's, thanks.
I'm starting to explore some options, I have a shortlist in mind....
One option is simply a grid reference, no frills but a bivi spot with some weather protection.
If numbers are there I can make it more fancy (not too fancy mind!!).
I know the location and it's possibly not in the spirit of true bike packing, but though it might help with motivation for bagging BAM #11.
