Newbie - first trip out, hand holding needed!

Post by errol »

Afternoon all,

Been thinking about doing something local to me for ages, but not plucked up the courage or had anyone to go with, wife wont go, (nowhere to plug the hair dryer in), kids not interested, (not rad enough dad!) anyone out there free anytime to come along and share some experience/stories...and some whiskey!

Live near LLandrindod, thought along the lines of perhaps nipping up to Radnor forest, Black Mixen tower, across to Great Rhos and back round via Doctors pool or something like that, but am open to offers anywhere! Nothing too extreme to start with?

Just in the process of getting some carrying stuff for the bike as well!

Cheers

Are you only about at weekends Errol? The 'mid-week weekend' club will be due a ride out shortly.

Certainly am, would need a bit of notice, enough time to grovel and pay the wife's credit card bill!

I would be up for a spin around the Radnor forest area for an overnighter. Midweek or weekend. Notice works here too and saves double booking.
