Snow will always "just" reflect whatever light(spectrum) hits it. That's why it's so amazing to be out in winter. Blue, purple, orange, yellow... it glows in all colours during a day's cycle. Yes, white too, given a crisp clear day.
And that's why... lots of my snow photography (I've lots, I live in a snow cave) is anything but white.

Which snow in this image is for white balance?
Yellowish in the background or blue & purple-ish from the foreground?
Exactly, neither of em. (Photo by my girlfriend from self layering up)

A few images from a roll of Kentmere 400 in an old Nikkormat I was checking out for a local.

Odd looking light leak on the top - wondering if it was my development or the camera. It's not evident on every image on the roll. But possibly on images taken at the same aperture. Ideas?

Otherwise, the camera is working perfectly once I gave it a dusting off.

I really liked the B&W but this one's vaguely exciting :-bd So many "modern" photos look "super-coloured" and whilst often fun and interesting it also seems a a bit weird and "unfaithful" :???:. That one looks real and has such a brilliant range of colours.

Greg, the leaks look regularly spaced, or sprocket holes, and when shot into bright(ish) light. My guess would be the seals on the back/spools.
Good to see folk still showing film some love.

That was my thought, but they feel like they should be ok. I suspect after 50 years they've degraded...which is reasonable. Currently shooting the F2 they gave me, I know the seals are gone on it, but it may provide some amusing results.

Then back to my M6.

I'm going to be awkward John and say somewhere between the two photos, add in some of the dark blue sky but keep that cable on the right out off shot :-bd

Thanks Cheeky Monkey, I do add filters etc to my photos but only enough to bring out the colours, I try not to alter the colours too much.

Love the b+w of your daughter Greg, love the way babies sleep with their hands up

Finally a bike related photo to share. Nothing remotely peak or mountain-like around here in east Kent mind.... gotta enjoy what you got!
The towers of Reculver on Boxing Day. Had a filthy puncture in the middle of the woods an hour after this. In the rain, as it got dark. Grrr. :-bd
