Just been to visit the old Mum and was chuffed to find 3 parcels...

A very nice BB top - Love it, fits great
Saddle for my new HT build
and the final bit of kit for said build, a swanky dropper post lever.

The build can begin... so excited I let out a little bit of wee.

Some parts (shifter and front derailleur) as I'm going to try 2x up front

Mrs B has snatched the boxes already and wrapped them up - apparently I'm to act surprised on Christmas morning

That's very generous of him Dave
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

Grim as they are I got some huge gains doing a couple of sessions per week for a while on one. I'd recommend a look at flammerouge.je Tony has some great programmes on there which are personalised to your needs and current level. Very reasonably priced even for the higher end packages.

I found that having a 'plan' made me more likely to do the right thing at the right time

She had seen me looking for winter bags but I said I just my quilt and old summer bag ,so I am a very happy chappy ,she didn't know which to get so I got a very warm bag on the premise that the bag is green ,the inner yellow and once inside I'd make up the colour of a tricolour (feckin irish mentality, and people think I'm a bit simple)
Edit ,on the other side of the coin I'm wandering if she is trying to tell me to stay out more over winter

...and delivered me a very special patch...my BAM patch to go with my TNRs and BB200. Thanks Stu...yer a star for getting that out so fast. I'll treasure this one and show it off to all and sunder in the new habitat.

And one custom road case for my mixing desk arrived this morning...thought I was going to have to leave it behind.

Stu's kindly bequeathed me the last of the line from the Exclusive BBB Badge And Sticker Collection. I might wrap them in tissue paper, lay them down in the loft, and await the inevitable megabucks auction of collectors' items in a few years time. Alternatively I may stick 'em on the bike and ceremonially cover them in crud during the WE.

It’s cheaper than paint, I’ve reduced a near mint Fargo to a patch work of bare metal and undercoat in a year.
My stickers are like a retrospective frame protection :-bd

Postie came for me, sadly nothing bike related, I must be getting soft. Pre Christmas tax rebate was spent on extra presents for family.
Ideal opportunity missed, spare money, excuse to quickly hide parcels....I do have a warm glow inside (not due to Bowmore malt) however.

Expect I’ll receive shiite plus socks in return :-bd

Silk under-gloves because I'm fed up of fighting with wet gloves to get them off and back on again and a silk balaclava for under the helmet 'coz when you ain't got much hair, you have to do these things
