A lovely red Spokey spoke key.

Next delivery should be spokes and nipples, since I wrote myself a little spreadsheet for calculating spoke length using Roger Musson’s formula (which saves me having to use web-based calculators).

Just need to decide if I’m going to build my own wheel building jig or drop some cash on one. :???:

Edit : nearly forgot, a Thomson stem in old fashioned 25.4mm flavour for Beth’s semi-retro Santa Cruz rebuild.

Some FF bibshorts (giordana 3XL!).

And a small bottle of wax chain lube
Give the dirt a little room.

Yodel van came 2days early with a pair of 29" vittoria goma, a pair of 27.5" tires (same flavour), a singlespeed kit and tensioner and some bells for the twins bikes. :-bd

Not really the postman, but I’ve just collected our van from the conversion garage. Lined, insulated, Webasto heater, couple of windows, lighting, roof vent, and a removable over 6ft and full width platform bed at 2/3 height.

Quite pleased

The ME Ghost Whisperer I ordered after the bargain alert thread tip off on here and a discount code kindly passed on, arrived this week. I'm now bivied on a hill with a view in the Cotwolds after a pleasant 100 miles this aft/eve. It's a minimal jacket but feels warm for the weight, seems to match my 280g phd quilt perfectly for warmth. Spot on for those pleasant bivi nights. Fabric is so thin you hardly notice it's on, should be good to kip in. Bargain. Thanks Bearbones!

And damn, the Cotswolds roads are beautiful at the mo, more so than usual. Don't think I've ever seen the fields looking so dry and yellow, it's like central France. Passed Snowshill lavender farm around 7pm and wondered why I used 10 days holiday up in France, I could have stayed here!

A bottle of rum... but I'm not really drinking at the moment because I'm back to training. :|

Oh, and one of those pillows that was linked on the last page. Seems OK, not tried it yet though.

Never use anything new on race day!

Only done half marathons but lost 2 toenails to a new pair of shoes I hadn't trained in

Yes Steve. You can glean a lot of info about how a bow's working by knowing how well it's working ... if you see what I mean.

UPS man actually, with a van containing a very large piece of Hickory. In exchange for turning some of it into a bow, I get to keep the remainder .... I appreciate how unexciting that sounds.

Some shaped pieces of carbon from somewhere in China. Doesn't matter that Bonty don't make carbon Sideswipes anymore...I now know where to get 'em from for a helluva lot less.
