Don't know if I'm permitted to have a just ordered rather than a just delivered?

Just sitting in the cafe outside Alpkit after having just ordered a Camino titanium, force group set with 650b wheel set to be fitted with a Son 28 Dynamo hub, titanium Seatpost and 10-42 cassette

Just like to thank Dan at Alpkit for taking the time to sort out my order.

Hopefully I can do a post mans been, soon.

Oh, and thanks for the advise on this forum, if I don't like the bike then it's all you lot on this forums fault ........

Well, not the postman (more my mate Andy) and not cycling related (doesn't seem to bother others  ) but my Fender '68 Princeton Reverb amp was dropped of yesterday.

And, yes, 12W of tube power is chuffin LOUD....

I bought this a couple of weeks ago:

Then I did this all day:

And this was the result:

So the postman brought me (OK, I collected from the sorting office... and the Gorilla Tape I bought locally):

Hoping together they'll solve my problems.

A superbly made windshield/pot holder from http://www.storminstovesystems.co.uk/ It's like a caldera but comes in two parts so it stows nicely in your pot. Comes with a small top burner which looks pretty useless but managed to boil 750ml of water in about 7 minutes.

Do you fancy trying a slightly bigger burner in that?

I've got the same. The sheild appears to be efficient. I tried the storminburner against a trail designs burner in a basic water boil test and I found the stormingburner boiled quicker and also had a longer burn time than the trail designs stove.
Just looking at the stove, I really did not think this would be the case.

Postie has been kept busy here...lots of little bits 'n bobs...1" gorilla tape, rubber cement and a bulk set of patches + skabs to replenish my aging patch kit, zefal tubeless valves which work a charm coupled with the gorilla tape on my narrow rims...and a 24-pack of AA Energizer Ultra Lithiums to keep the Etrex fed throughout the summer.

New(ish) phone. Samsung Galaxy S7.

Pretty happy with it on the whole. Going to get a neoprene case for it and sew it onto one of my camelbak straps. Finally get back to taking photos whilst I'm out! :-bd

Absolutely. Ive still got the the Afterburner and the BB22G stoves. Have you got something else in mind? The 22G stove burns really hot - I actually wonder whether it would be too hot for the cone which traps every skerrick of heat.

Yes, I'll give you a shout after the weekend. I imagine the cone would starve a 22g of air, it might also produce an air gap between stove and pot base which wouldn't be good.

New Alpkit Camino Titanium with SRAM force groupset, titanium seat-post, 10-42 cassette, 650b wheels and son Dynamo hub which Alpkit fitted for me.

Came with a 40t chain ring/spider which I removed and instead put a direct mount smaller absolute black chainring to make the bike better for the hills when fully loaded. I found this a good solution to get a smaller chainring on.

Just got my new sleeping bag via Ali Express - just under 600gr, saving 400gr over my old bag and much smaller pack size

Replacement tyre (Conti Race King) after the last one blew on the Spain C2C.
The bead came detatched (unraveled) and fortunately the supplier agreed it was a manufacturing fault so it was under warranty.
Still grateful for the '5th emergency' service that mobilised and came to bail me out 20 miles from nowhere.
Thanks guys!

It's great that Spain has that emergency tyre delivery service. Delivery guy seemed a bit edgy though. :???:

To be frank, I preferred the repaired tyre you were using...

Not the postman but my Brother brought me back a new Enlightened Equipment Revelation quilt from his trip to the states. Really impressed with it, huge improvement on the Cumulus it replaces.
