Mine did take a while to turn up... maybe someone else returned them as wrong size and I ended up with them, or they had to really search for the last set...or something.

I might give them a try this weekend.

I ordered some size 42 but they are too small for me.
Anybody want them before I send them back?

Hope they are good as my HAB friendly Mavics have been sent back for a warranty claim after the ratchet buckle snapped!
Do you want them for the HTR? I'll be in Tyndrum on the friday evening but I can post if you want them before that.

Happy to pick them up from you then if that's ok. Either cash then or can pp you some cash now if you'd rather.

I'll be staying at by the way campsite and be either in the real food cafe or the tyndrum inn

My 46's arrived a few days ago but it wasnt until today that I tried them on. Theyre a perfect fit and for walking in at least very comfortable.

Just got a Go Outdoors loyalty card offering 15% discount, so was able to pick up a MSR trailshot water filter for £30.60, down from £36.

Had to ask in store though as they are just in and no one knew which shelf to put it on....

Not really a bargain but http://www.comriecroftbikes.co.uk/ have Togs thumb grips in stock. I ordered 2 sets yesterday and they turned up this morning. Price was £18.95 a set plus postage.

They don't do online ordering so you'll need to give them a call on 01764 670140.

The Scottish accents were easy to understand too.

Is not a deal yet, but it could end up as one for someone...

Showed up on my bike search (I'm looking for a beater that I'm not afraid of having nicked) and even I'm tempted to bid on it...

^^^
Seem strange not to include a full spec or size (or did I miss something?)

Edit - does look rather nice though

Yeah, the lack of size is especially odd, though annoyingly common I've found.

thats a lovely looking bike and only about 10 miles away from me - I've no need for a bike like that but I'm still tempted! Whats a bike like that worth?

Can someone explain to me why the eBay warbird seller has (377) transactions but 0% feedback...

I dont know eBay's nuances but that seems odd....

Feedback is based on last 12 months iirc. So would be 0% if no feedback has been given in that time, but you still get your overall number from feedback prior to that.

The Chris King hubs are about £650 the pair new so you could base the estimate on that. I'd guess second hand, and it looks unhidden, it would be a £2K+ bike. It seems to much of a bargain to be true and the lack of description rings alarm bells. For instance, if I had Thomson bars on a bike I was selling I would mention it in the description. Maybe I'm just old an cynical?

There's 3 days to run on the Warbird so probably way too soon to be thinking of it as a bargain - could all go mad in the last 30 seconds. Does look very nice though.
