Polaris AM enduro soft shell is all the rage apparently £30 - https://www.polaris-bikewear.co.uk/AM-E ... 5313-p.htm

I use outdoorsy ones (Montane Dyno Stretch, Mountain Hardware Super Chockstone, RAB VR Alpine Lite)

All excellent and would recommend, all uses for slightly different reasons. But all over budget, though I've had them all a few years so had my money's worth

Tony, pop on over to Decathlon. They've got heaps of windproof jackets in sizes that suit blokes of our, ahem, stature. Ive got one of their Windwarm jackets and for £25 you really cant go wrong
