Just a thought.

This morning I waited and waited (whilst looking at 1 man sub 600g tents obviously) whilst my bladder filled up. Until the po8nt when I probs only had an hour to go bwfore fully wetting myself. Weighed myself (with boxers) bwfore and after...

Before peeing 86.2kg
After weeing 85.5kg

Which got me think8ng... for those of us having issues dropping the pounds (like me) maybe we should weigh usselves after pee8ng (and pooing!!)...

Mine is always just after I get up, after I've taken a leak. Consistency is key.

04/01/19 - 70.0kg
---
08/03/19 - 68.2kg (-0.5kg)
15/03/19 - 68.1kg (-0.1kg)

Fairly steady, would definitely like to start increasing the rate I'm dropping now though, especially with a week off coming in two weeks.

Yeah, I think I've lost the easy pounds and now I've flatlined. It's going to take considerably more effort from here on in, though I've not a massive amount to lose to get to my first goal. I want to make sure that whatever I do is sustainable too.

I'm not at home today so I won't get to weigh myself until tomorrow.

Got all those - good work folks!

And I'm having another week of not putting myself through it :-bd

Wifey is home tomorrow after her two weeks away and I've been on full blown survival mode and literally thrown anything and everything down my neck to simply get through the day.

Back to normal life after tomorrow and even got a little overnighter beerpacking trip planned for the end of next week (130km each day each way with a nice craft beer pub in the middle) and so I'm hoping to be back on track by next weigh in.

A day late, finally some progress. I have changed my eating habits and finally some movement, I just need to get out on the bike more.

16/03/19 133kg

I won't be doing a weigh in next week as I am away trying not to eat too many cream tea's.

Something to be said for cooking big batches of food and freezing them.

It's too easy to say "oh, I'm in a rush" or "I've got nothing in" and then eat shitty food.

Totally! But that, in itself, requires time and energy.

It's the same with all my nutrition failings, I live an intensionally busy life and then I blame the hectic schedule for my resorting to crappy food choices. No excuse for it at all really.

For just in case I'm too lazy to make batches, I also buy from these...

I've long since worked out how to work around the fact that I'm generally sh*t.

Good news but.....unless you give me an actual number in a sensible unit of measurement then I'm unable to enter it onto the spreadsheet. :-bd

I keep hoping I can join back in with this but to add to my collection of medical woes my thyroid has now died a death and I have the metabolism of a dumpling.
I am 72.4kg despite trying to watch what I eat and exercise. But the endocrinologist says they may up my thyroxine soon - in my mind I shall then instantly shed all excess weight :-bd (I can hope!)
