There's suspicions that the recent fire on Ravens Crag in the Lakes was started by a someone wild camping-

Turns out the fire at Cwmcarn was caused by kids / wankers.

Thanks a bunch. Pricks.

Spoke to a lady at the weekend who said fire had caused lot of forest damage in the Abergynolwyn area recently - also started by kids. How did they know? 'Cos the kids returned a second time to do it again and found the foresters awaiting them! Caught red-handed.

You only to have to go on Face ache and see people posting up pics of them bivying open fires, even now, after all this..

It beggers belief that they feel the need to have a fire at this time of year for a start..

FFS, multiple fires up there now. No way that's not been done on purpose.

Think we reached a point a couple of weeks ago where the publicity surrounding 'wild' fires started to backfire and has put the idea of lighting one, firmly in the forefront of some tiny minds. Branding seems an appropriate punishment.

You're too lenient, Stu. Send them on the 2014 BB200 route with weights strapped to their ankles and waist...on foot...in January.

Funny you should mention that....if you spot any dried-frog pills anywhere they'll be mine....

Small world alert: mate who runs our bike training outfit with me also works at Evans events and is currently on a train with JamesO, presumably on way to/from an Evans gig...

Just saw a photo on the Scottish Buscraft group on FB and thought of this thread.

Big uncontained fire with dry grass and ground all around in woodland just to boil a cuppa! I know bushcrafters feel the need to have a fire at every opportunity, but there's just no need really

Branding seems an appropriate punishment.
Label them microcriminals in a fashionable typeface, and blog about them?
