Is there any reason why I couldn’t put my Barebones carbon poles inside my seat tube and or seat post as long as they were packed not to rattle? Ideally I don’t want to take a full frame bag and they are about 1 too long for the half bag.
Cheers

No reason as I can see, as long as you say ... don't rattle or rub against anything.

I do the reverse, my alu poles sit inside my carbon frame and seatpost. No damage afaik but I haven't got x ray eyes.

Two things that would stop me doing that is getting grease on the poles and the chance of one jamming between the frame and BB Axle. Just velcro them outside or across your bar?

Like the idea, but you'd have to find somewhere else to store your spare spokes!

I don't bother generally with spare spokes. But when I do, I tape them to another spoke!ZeroDarkBivi wrote:Like the idea, but you'd have to find somewhere else to store your spare spokes!

Erm carrying spare spikes would mean I actually had some, not for this bike!
