Zazen - nothing happens next this is it.
Re: Sat comms for all
Least it is a “true” messenger; not merely one using cellular. Pointless.
And Iridium. Good choice of satellite network.
This is curious though.....
Will stick with the inReach

Then further down the page.....BivyStick - Turn your cell phone into a satellite communication device. No contracts, no activation fees. Just peace of mind.
Can’t see anything saying data use for credits and the cost of additional credits.Get the Bivystick device and 20 credits of data to use once you activate your device.
Will stick with the inReach
Re: Sat comms for all
I think it Said 1 credit for a msg and 2 credit per hour tracking.
It could work out cheaper than Ye Garmin if it’s not used often.

See what is the cost of credits.dlovett wrote:I think it Said 1 credit for a msg and 2 credit per hour tracking.

Put my inReach into suspend when not in use.
Not about the concept of a screen less unit on a two way messenger. If phone is lost, broken, or flat battery can still use the inReach direct.
Spot X looks interesting
