Gravel riding in Ireland

Post by BreninBeener »

I have some friends who are travelling from Colorado for an extended stay in Ireland.

They are hoping to do gravel riding whilst they are here.

Does anyone have any info or resources that could help them find Irish gravel?

Thanks

It's not great. Most of the land you'd want to ride on is managed by Coilte (forestry commission) who are vehemently anti bike. Saying that... it's rare that you get much of any notice when you do.

I'll DM you contacts with the chap who is currently writing the "offroad ish" touring guide to Ireland.

Are they visiting northern or Southern Ireland?
