Maintenance help

Post by PaulB2 »

Is there any way to adjust how much you have to move the inner paddle on a RS505 lever to change gear? The main lever doesn't need to be moved much but the inner paddle seems to give a lot less feedback and I have to move it quite a bit more so I was wondering if there was a way to tighten up the feel. I just bought an ex-demo model so not sure if it's working as intended or if it's something I can sort myself.

Inner levers will move more, they tend to shift the harder way/more strained way if that makes sense. So in the front, the little lever will need more effort to move from the little ring to the big. On the rear, the little lever will move from little rings to big rings, so takes more effort.

Don’t think I’ve explained it that well?!

Edit - that’s a load from of bollocks  Talking through my arse  The inner lever will move more and give less feedback but was bollocks about the direction. I blame Monday...
