We're cool wild camping / bivvying. We can handle some type 1.5 fun but I'm not she is ready for full-on type 2 just yet.

Would 'lite' be doable?
Both doable :-bd Just go steady if the full un :-bd
My Dillon is 10 also. He's a bit of a bear cub Vet nowadays. He looks after me
Go for it!

Just ask Mr NotInABox whether Dillon had a nice time on t'Racer. I reckon your daughter will have the time, and memory, of her life :-bd. Give her the map, get her to make all the decisions, put her in charge, get her to ride in front. As Peter said, you don't have to do whatever anyone else is doing (apart from the cake-consumption obviously). She'll probably make some far more sensible decisions than any of us lot too .
For sure my friend :-bd

This is what happened last time she followed me in Wales; 4 miles of uphill, unrideable gloop.

I was in charge then, I'm sure she'll be pleased to take control this time

That was 3 years ago, I'm assuming Wales will have dried out since then.

Hey Scotty I thought you were bailing on us this year chap? It'll be good to have a Chip Shop Consultant available.

Yeah look forward to riding with you again Steve. You'd better bring some extra luggage though, 'cos you gotta carry home all those T-shirts and mementos from your past ninety five events that are cluttering up Dee's broom cupboard

Hi Reg, the wife's birthday is the weekend before so I'm free to attend for the next couple of years until it clashes again, then the grovelling will have to start
Will we be riding as the LHCB? or do you have leadership commitments?

I appear to have booked myself a 'holiday', probably by mistake.

*Does that scene in Withnail appear in everyone's else's minds when they consider a trip to mid Wales? Just me then.
