New handlebars?

Post by Pete-G »

Don't worry, this isn't a new "what handlebars" thread.
I was at Core bike show today. On a bike built up on the ISON stand (think it was a The Light Blue Darwin) I spotted these handlebars.

They were still branded up as Satori, but the spec sheet of the bike said they were Genetic which is ISONs in house brand. 15deg backsweep and up to 760mm wide. Worth keeping an eye out for I reckon.

Are they the right way up? Look like they drop from the centre before rising again ... they also look like a big smiley mouth :-bd

Satori website states no rise, maybe a dodgy camera angle then? They do look upswept though :???:

I'd say they're like a Salsa bend2 handlebar with a jones/alpkit style loop on the front if that helps. I've got a photo, just need to get it uploaded somewhere.

Not sure this helps actually, and please excuse the quality, rubbish phone pic just trying to grab the details.

They look nice - very like an on-one fleegle with a loop, but surely you'd put the light on the front extension otherwise there would be some interesting shadows?

They will stop the front end bouncing around... 500g for 760 wide.
