Google suggests Exante diet?? Sounds grim.

I'd just cut the carbs and eat plenty of protein with what ever fat comes with the protein (i.e. not lots of added fat). Obviously no sugar, booze etc.

Rib-eye, porks chops, belly pork, chicken, eggs, bacon, cheese, some nuts, pork scratchings, mattiesons sausage, pepearami or similar is working well here.

It is pish, my wife has been doing it and its working for her. Back to the fitness pal first and I’ll try some of your suggestion, not a fan of sugar but do like my alcohol, definitely my Achilles heel but reducing that too. Working away for the fortnight so gym next week and bike the week after. Billy no mates for these trips so no distracting workmates to ‘drag’ me out. :-bd

I set MFP to 10x my body weight in pounds, so about 2000cal a day. Day to day I Iimit carbs to 50g max and protein 175-200g, fat is what ever is in the food, plus the odd double cream in coffee or full fat milk, I cook with a bit of butter to for eggs, steak. Drinks are fizzy water, tea or coffee. I don't drink booze anyway so that's easy for me.

Obviously I have strayed the odd bit, especially on my recent bike packing trip, but if I'm cycling 8 hours for several I don't worry!

Sh1t!!!

So.....my absence from this thread might have had something to do with me getting myself into a sniff of trouble weight/diet-wise.

I just got back from Tuscany (and am dealing with the pain of failing to complete the route) and so am now 5kg less than a week ago and am determined to get my crap together in order to avoid such piss poor performances in he future.

A bet with the Mrs (with nights under the stars as the wager) should do the trick :)

Watch this space.....

243 lbs, a good weeks work, amazing what a bit of discipline can achieve, and no booze!
I had two meals a day, with lower carbs (as suggested by Moder-dye) scrambled eggs mushrooms and beans for breakfast and what ever main course was on at the works canteen but avoiding beige carbs. Fruit snack at night and two good CV sessions at a local Pure gym.
Barbecue today so just incinerated chicken for me :-bd

Week 24 weigh-n tomorrow folks :-bd

Here's a graph of some of you regulars. I removed some people as they've not posted for ages to try to make it more readable.
If you're not on it don't worry, I still have your records and can add to them when you feel re-invigorated to waste away

201.8lb so minus 0.2 or effectively nothing, but I do have a big poo due, so I might see what the result is after that!

Still, being careful food wise, but more relaxed at around 2000-2200cals

A lot less exercise of late as the cortisone shot is definitely wearing off my knee and I've had a bad Achilles. Knee replacement anytime now, had all my preoperative assessments the other day, just waiting for the actual date.

I actually haven't that much left that i want to loose now really anyway with abs starting to show and complaints of being too boney

15-06-18 - 113.8kg or 250lbs

Moving in the right direction again.

Mates out for a long weekend of bike silliness this weekend so lots of riding but likely also greater than average pub time.

Let's see what happens.....

08/06 68.2 (150.4)
15/06 67.5 (148.8)

Half a kilo or so to go until my original target weight and I fit in all my ten year old cycle clothing (all the stuff I bought in the last couple of years is baggy on me but you can’t have everything)

Hi groovers,

This week: 231lb

So a grand loss of 5 lb in last few weeks,(have missed a few weigh ins!) which I am chuffed with! Been on bike more doing longer easier rides. Have also realised I am eating too much!! So for last few days have had weetabix and fruit for breakfast and lunch and a normal meal at dinner. Feels good!

My stats history:
03/01:247
05/01: 246
12/01: 244
19/01: 242
04/05: 236
11/05: 236
14/06: 231

Total loss for year: 16 lb (yay - finally got that first stone off!). Time to keep going. Just realised that there is an all day party tomorrow though!! M

I just lost my wedding ring somewhere today! Fell off my finger at some point, seems 18 years ago I wasn't as slim as I am now

Carbs Almighty it's week 25 weigh-in tomorrow :-bd

I know I'll have put weight on. Been back on the carbage a few days with my head up my arse since I got the date for my knee replacement (16th July). Trying to sort various family and work logistics out around the op has lead me back to the comfort of junk.

Still tomorrow is another day and I'll weigh-in and take it from there...
