Well done everyone that's trying to do this. I'm finding encouragement from all that's being posted.
I'll update on my second week weigh in on Monday.

A wee bit late

05.01.18: 76.7

15.01.18: 76.2

I would have like to have lost a wee bit more, but I've been suffering from a bit of back pain this last week so activity levels are down, that plus the weather is chuffing awful. Just spent today sitting reading, at least I managed to leave the biscuit tin alone

Weigh-in tomorrow morning guys and gals if you can

So make sure you squeeze one out before standing on the scales of doom, and think of how eating less saves more weight and costs nothing compared to going cuben fibre or Ti to save weight :-bd

I know some will do Monday and that's fine.

Hi groovers,

This week: 242lb

My stats history:
03/01:247
05/01: 246
12/01: 244
19/01: 242

Loss so far this year: 5lb - slow and steady!
Drinking loads of water - seems to make me feel more full and has def helped to stop the snacking.
Maintaining a dry january and feeling better for it.
Still not doing enough exercise!

Good effort everyone.

Back to work. Eating better.

5-1-18 - 111kg or 244.5lbs
12-1-18 110.5kg or 243.6lbs
19-1-18 110kg or 242.5lbs

I'm consistent if not shedding loads of girth!

Worried about next week as it's the Fatbiking Europe Winter Camp and so lots of riding but also craploads of beer and greasy good is likely (ok, guaranteed!).

Cheers got all those logged. Well done, even if now's not the best time for various reasons I reckon keeping it in your mind might help kerb the worst of excesses due to cabin fever.

Cheers 99percent chimp too. Keto is working for me, took maybe just over a week for me to feel settled with it but it's definitely helping kerb my appetite and my stomach is so much better in general. Not for everyone I know and may be not for life, when ever i get the chance to do any decent rides out i might take some more carbs strategically during it.

This is worth a read for those interested and for the skeptics too. Sami Inkinen is a Finnish endurance athlete, open ocean rowing, tri's and marathons and cycling. Here's how he managed keto and strategic carbs on an 8 stage 400 mile mtb race, so some what relevant to bikepacking
