Quitting bread (pretty much for good now) was the thing that made the most difference to me I reckon.
I agree Richard, but on a budget at the mo and getting whole meal bread nearly free
So having to use it....it's not cheap eating well unfortunately

Yeah, that's very true.

That said... saving money by not eating as much sounds like a win win to me!

I have healthy teas but I'm out driving from 05.00 every morn for work,
So butties are the easy option

That's the beauty of intermittent fasting. I don't need to worry about what I'm eating until the evening.

Fair enough....my wife's doing an 8 hour window fasting diet at the mo, seems to work
For her, I can't drive/load/unload all day without some sustinence

I still ride and lift fasted. It took some getting used to though.

I used to suffer with hypoglycaemia which thankfully cleared right up after a few months of the regime. It's not for everyone though (from what I'm told women can really struggle with it).

Excellent. I've been doing it... I don't know, maybe 6 years now and I'd never go back.

Only time I don't is when I'm riding. But then anything goes with regard to food when I'm riding.

I think I'm going to be a touch up this week. I think I'm at the point where I need to modify my calories down a touch.

Hi Richard is it the 5-2 style fasting you’re doing?

No, 16-8 (popularised as "leangains").

My eating window is 16:00 to 23:59 (give or take) and I don't eat between 00:00 and 15:59. Sometimes I go longer, sometimes shorter... depends what's going on.

03/03/2018 - 66.7kg (-0.3kg)
24/03/2018 - 65.9kg (-0.8kg)

11/08/2018 - 67.0kg (+1.0kg)
18/08/2018 - 65.8kg (-1.2kg)
25/08/2018 - 65.7kg (-0.1kg) - I had a feeling I wasn't going to have lost much this week.

Not really sure what to do this week. In theory I should tweak my calories down again but I also don't want to go into TNR feeling starved. That said, I guess I can do plenty of carb loading on Saturday and Sunday.

30/08/2018 - 64.7kg (-1.0kg) - No weights this week because of a shoulder injury, so it may be that's muscle loss, but hopefully not.

Will be interesting to see how the next two weeks affect my weight. Lots of cycling... but then hopefully lots of pasta too!

24/08 67.3 (148.4)
31/08 67.6 (149.0)

Creeping slowly back up. Looks like I need to start counting calories a bit more closely again. That said, I was 66.9 2 days ago so my weight is fluctuating quite a bit more than usual
