Great results mate. You're keto thing is certainly working for you.
Cheers Naffa, it is suiting me. Only thing is in have to get enough electrolytes or I get cramping in my legs quite bad post ride.

BTW, you might want to refresh your weight loss stats, unless you really have gone to 26 stone!

Ah. See you done it while I was typing

Happy birthday :-bd

I went out for a meal (meat based chinese but with rice noodles and ice cream  ) and had a takeaway (meat based Indian, but no rice or bread) but other than that its been carry on as normal. I don't drink booze any way and soft drinks are sparkly water.

20/04/2018 71.5 (157.6)
27/04/2018 71.0 (156.5)

Down half a kilo this week which is a pleasant surprise considering how busy it's been.

I'm getting better-er at portion control and thinking about the cumulative impact of what I'm eating.

I'm finding myself craving fruit not junk during the day! And when 'treats' appear in the office I'm far less fussed.... Ye Gods!

Keep at it all :-bd

27.04.18 according to the scales I e put on 7lb. Don't know how. I'll try not to worry about it too much. It's our 27th wedding anniversary today and we're about to leave for the lake district and a trek up Scafell Pike tomorrow abw.
Hopefully I'll weigh better next week.

Cheers peeps

Naffa you seem to be having big jumps about, maybe it is your scales unless you've got something else going on meaning you're holding lots of water and then getting wooshes of it out. Enjoy the lakes :-bd

Wey hey! Another 2.8lb down to 208.4lb. :-bd

Navy body fat calculator puts me at 20% body fat with another 5lb to ideal weight, but that's not grand tour rider ideal weight

Hi groovers,

First of all, well done for all the weight loss / motivation.

As for me --- Ok, after a long break (like 3 months) of not doing anything and just being bogged down with "things going on in my life", its time to get back to the needed task of losing weight....so back to weigh in:

Must check in the forum more often to keep motivation up. Why does eating healthily seem so tricky at times?

This week: 236lb

My stats history:
03/01:247
05/01: 246
12/01: 244
19/01: 242
04/05: 236

Total loss for year: 11lbs.

So, to get back on it - 3 goals for next couple of weeks:
3 rides per week
Cut out any visible sugars (really must focus in this as I am diabetic and have let things slip) - - its so easy to let "treats" become part of a habit!
No drinking booze in week (not that I really do, but its nice to have an easy thing to tick off!)
Drink lots of water.

Lets see how that goes!!??

Below 70kg for the first time in a decade.

Still I think I'm heading in the right direction again now.

Just been told on Friday I'll be getting a knee replacement as soon as they can fit me in after 16th June, so i need to get where I can by then and then find a maintenance level of food as I'll be getting very little significant exercise for a fee months then.
