It was this morning. A very weird yellow tint to everything and the sun looked like the moon - in fact you could actually stare directly at the sun without shielding your eyes ... all very odd.

In Swindon it currently feels as if you are wearing tinted glasses. The sand in the clouds has made it most weird.

Feels vaguely apocalyptic.

Has the hurricane/storm brought sand/dust across the atlantic then?

Apparently the storm sucked in air from North Africa and a load of sand with it. Great, going to have to wash the van again.

Please use proper washing techniques, with sand on it, a proper snow foam, rinse and two bucket wash is the only way.

Psh, just run it through the nearest Tesco car wash. What could possibly go wrong?

Apart from improper washing technique resulting in swirl marks as a minimum amount of damage they'll cause which is by the by..... I know of a certain aston martin owner who ended up with a £30k+ bill because the chemicals these places use are fairly obnoxious and ended up chemically ruining his carbon ceramic brakes... (yes I know carbon ceramics are not something that have any benefit on the road, but that's not really the point).
