...on the Guardian bike blog; 6th bike down. Looks pretty ace even with the laufs. Anyone here?

Even allowing for the rearward front axle, there seems to be some interesting angles going on ... I do like it though :wink:

I appreciate beauty is in the eye of the beholder but that thing is futt-bugly. I also thought gates drives were less than ideal in the mud? This was based on comments / stuff in mags and on the internet though :|

I had some interest in this last year, but it was to early in the development to commit. If it weighed the same as a comparable bike I'd have one, but pretty sure it was significantly heavier. No more ugly than every e-bike I have seen.

I went to a talk he gave last year about what he was doing, they looked very nice bikes but they were pretty oricy though. He was aiming for the 4K starting pint upwards.

I always thought belt drives failed with dirt?
