I'll probably be doing it as well as the 300.
I don't think Stuart's finalised the route yet, it's not on his YD200 page.

I would have loved to, but will be having a go at the 200 ITT in the near future as I cant make this weekend.
the 300 is for later in the year for me.

Probably me. TBC. Got a lot of stuff packed into weekends in late Aug/early Sept. Looks like that Lakes SS weekend might be thrown in there too.

I take it will be the last weekend in August? I was planning on being down there that week so only fair to have a bash at this!

A large proportion of the route is either tarmac, fire road or gravel/stone tracks. There's probably a maximum of 20Km where an MTB would have a definite advantage but some of those 20Km might be pushing or HaB anyway Stuart has mentioned that the route is CX/Gravel bike friendly. I suppose it depends how good you are on a CX.boxelder wrote:Do-able on a 'gravel bike' allegedly?
Then again Emma Osenten did the YD300 on a CX bike which I certainly wouldn't fancy doing.
