South Downs way

Evening all, looking at doing the SOuth Downs double, just wondering is it doable on a cross bike? My mountain bikes are abit out of order ATM... cheers

Certainly do-able on a CX bike as I've ridden one a few times, but it'll probably be worth fitting bigger, tougher tyres and maybe double-wrapping the bar tape as your wrists take a fair battering.

Just what I was hoping to hear, I done the Tuscany trail on the cx bike so I have a few things I need to sort for a comfy ride. Cheers mate
