Trangia 25 in a seatpack?

Post by firestarter »

Is there a seatpack around that would fit a trangia 25 in by any chance, a bike packing style rather than a big bag thanks

I was swaying towards bike packing bits tbh nick. I might just have to rethink my cooking idea but I love my trangia lol

How about a Trangia Triangle and whatever pot you fancy taking.

I've got a little trivet that I use with my Trangia stove. Weighs nothing and works really well with a 650-750ml pot. Get a windshield that you can roll up and it will all fit inside your pot.

I'm guessing you want the 25 for the reliability, wind proofing and pot set up?

It's quite big though, you can get the first two requirements with some other set ups but you won't find much to mirror the pots unless you can work out a way to change what you need/use

Unless you already have a Trangia, dont bother buying one as there are plenty of better stoves on the market.

Dont get Stu started

Cheers all I like the function and size of the 25 set up but I think a solution from the ones above with a ti mug is probably the best bet rather than struggling to carry my 25

We use one of these...

It's brilliant. Never used it with the trangia attachment tbh, there are always twigs to be found and its a whole lot more fun to cook that way (and have a wee campfire afterwards). It was all we used in 5 weeks in Portugal. I carry a few cubes of natural firestarter stuff just in case we can't find anything combustible near to hand, but they have only ever been needed once.
