Settle to Sedbergh

Post by Chew »

Ok, so planning on riding up to the Adventure Cycle Festival from work, and looking for a route.

So far sorted
Bradford > Skipton > Settle

Sedbergh > Kendal

Its the bit in the middle.
Done Horton > Ribblehead > Dent before. Any other options?
Nothing too taxing and reasonably direct

A bit limited there Chew.

Take the lane to High Birkwith then follow the PBW to the top of Arten Gill. Down this then follow the lane on the south side of the dale to Dent. Keep on the south side until you can cross the river at Brackensgill ( use footbridge ). Cross road and take bridleway over the hill to Millthrop. Road to Sedbergh

Thought so

Any idea on the FP over to Austwick? Know they're usually fine, although plenty of styles and gates.

Was thinking BW to Clapham, lanes to Ingleton, up to the antenna, BW to Blea Gills and drop into Dent, lanes to Sedbergh?

Just something different.

Have done it, a bit of HAB and a wall or two to climb, might be easier heading up the road to Buckhaw Brow, BW to Feizor, follow PBW to Austwick then lane to Clapham through the tunnels. Lane to Ingleton, Marton

Blea Gills? On iPad so awkward to check
