I've planned a nearly 300km loop from Hull to the highest points in the Wolds and Moors: https://www.gpsies.com/map.do?fileId=ksosdmmupsjlywsn
Would appreciate any pointers towards good trails near to the planned route. Ta!

At Appleton Le Moors take the road east of the one you've chosen and pick up the trail that follows the valley to rejoin your track just before it reaches Chimney Bank. The route you currently have is land rover tracks on the moor.

The section from Rosedale Abbey follows the old railway, I assume that's what you wanted? It's very easy riding apart from two sections that have become flooded so there's a bit of work avoiding them

Just realised your route is clockwise, so after turning off Chimney Bank instead of pulling onto the moors keep in the valley bottom.

another slight change that needed to be made, ride past Cropton Brewery, now just need to make sure we time it right!

Yes, that's the trail. There's a BW following the river south from Cropton but don't bother, it's really boggy through the woods.

Am I right in assuming you're using the Trans-Pennine Trail from Hornsea-Hull, and the Yorkshire Wolds Way from Hessle-northbound?

nice, good route that, the YWW. Do enjoy it, especially in Autumn. Bit sloppy, great fun.
