Is the Southern Upland Way rideable?

Post by lune ranger »

Is the long distance path across the bottom Scotland rideable as a bikepacking route?
Wanting some ideas for a spring trip.
I'm not averse to knee deep clag or long distance pushing if it buys a good journey overall

Thanks.
Probably give it a miss. I just spent 3 days porridge surfing in the Quantocks, Exmoor and Dartmoor and am hankering for some firm smooth riding trails.
