Yes. Now sat in a box under my bench ... I'm up above my ears in stuff to to do and it's not at the top of the list :wink:

Not yet convinced it's going to work without some mechanical means of holding the sections together. I had hoped the tension of the tarp would do the trick but in a wind the tarp moves and obviously both sides don't move in unison, meaning the tension holding the sections together comes and goes, blah, blah.

I'll keep at it.

I assume you’re using shock cord like Warbonnet?
The downward pull of the tarp I would think also holds the joints together?

Not yet convinced it's going to work without some mechanical means of holding the sections together. (WB are using hollow DAC sections, I'm using solid carbon rod)

It would but it would all depend on the length of the pole, obviously the longer it is, the more flex available and the less stress involved.
