WRT sweepstake prize.

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

Just finished making one of these for the WRT sweepstake prize. Spinnaker tarp, carbon pole, carbon pegs and pure dyneema lines.

Strangely, I'd not actually bothered to properly weigh a full set before today ... not bad all in.

Sweet.

Like that. A lot.

I'd love something like that, but a stealthier color, as after all, most of where we bivi, it's frowned upon at best.

Given that it's sail cloth colour is always going to be a problem ... it's this or white but I figure dark blue won't stand out much at night.

I have two spinnaker things (MLD spinntex) and they're both fairly unstealthy in a light grey. Not so good for stealth camping but quite nice to be inside/under

Just have to pitch on top of a hill or next to the sea then nobody will see you... erm, so long as they're looking uphill or seawards....

Nice Stu. That spinnaker material almost made me rethink my affection for DCF. Will have a chat with you about it @ WRT.
